The theory of evolution continues to be a source of struggle for many Americans. The conflict manifests itself most often in our public schools, where for nearly a century groups have fought about how to teach our children about humanity's origins. I wanted to satirize the conflict by producing a nineteenth-century-style fight poster. I thought by poking fun at both sides, maybe we could all learn to lighten up a little. Besides, who wouldn't want to see the fight resolved by an ape fighting a Victorian gentleman boxer?
